Label Power will be closed from 5pm Friday the 22nd December 2023 and will re-open 8am Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

Label Power are incredibly proud to report that this month we were finalists for the 2023 Digital Printing Awards!

The event was held at the InterContinental Park Lane Hotel, with former Liverpool goalkeeper, Bruce Grobbelaar, taking on the role of the master of ceremonies. While we were ultimately not the winner of the prestigious award, we are incredibly proud to be nominated.

With many eyes now turning to the Australian label manufacturing industry from all around the globe, this nomination was not just in recognition of our accomplishments but also a showcase of the prowess and innovation of the Australian label industry at large. Beyond our commitment to producing top-notch labels, Label Power takes pride in contributing to the Australian economy by creating products and jobs.

These Salty Captain labels are a product we are most proud of. The spotlight fell upon them at the Digital Printing Awards this month. How could we not feel proud of these beautiful labels. the amazing artwork upon them is not only visually striking but manages to disticntly seperate the labels apart from each other, a must once many different products are arranged on a supermarket shelf.

The journey to becoming a finalist began with our method of creating these distinct labels. They were made using Raflatac PP silver as the base material, meaning they were already primed for beautiful result. A 15-micron matte overlaminate film was applied,which not only enhanced the labels durability but had the added bonus of looking great. It's the little things that add up to something special and its the high build spot gloss varnish, digitally applied to selected areas, that elevated these labels to a new level of excellence. The cutting-edge technology behind this process is credited to our Epson Surepress L-6034VW, a state-of-the-art printing solution that played a pivotal role in achieving the desired outcome.
