Expanding Waistlines
As the chefs hung up their Toques and the last of the mini Mrs. Mac’s pies were handed out, the Label Power team were left wondering what effect the 3 day binge at Fine Food Queensland would have on their waistlines. The Brisbane Exhibition Centre was packed with over 300 exhibitors and showcasing some of the best food and drink ideas from around the world.
Not quite as tasty but just as appetising was the Label Power stand. A great line up of <link>full colour printers, <link>thermal label printers, <link>bar code scanners, <link>label dispensers and rewinders caught the eye of many of the 7000 delegates who attended the 3 day event.
Of particular interest to some of the smaller food producers was the entry level bar code printer package. The <link>Zebra LP2844 with Bartender Ultralite software is ideal for those who need to print small to medium runs of labels including the SCC Serial Shipping Container Code (SCCC) labels now required by Woolworth’s and Coles.
“It’s great to be a part of Fine Food Australia and to see so many Label Power customers exhibiting and visiting the show” remarked James Malone Label Power’s Managing Director. “It’s important to attend the shows our customers attend and to maintain a presence. It’s not just about sales, it’s about making the connection with your customers and understanding their business environment”.
Label Power will be on the road again later in the year at Fine Food & Hotel Australia which runs from Monday 11 September until Thursday 14 September 2006 at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre, Southbank. We will be showcasing an exciting range of fully automated label applicator equipment so keep an eye on future Labelling Secrets for more information.
