In a thrilling turn of events, Label Power has emerged as a finalist in the highly acclaimed 2023 Digital Printer Awards, showcasing the prowess and innovation of the Australian label manufacturing industry. The spotlight falls our entry of six Salty Captain cleaning product labels, a product we are most proud of.
The journey to becoming a finalist began with our method of creating these distinct labels. The six labels were meticulously crafted using Raflatac PP silver as the base material, setting the stage for a visually striking result. A 15-micron matte overlaminate film was applied, ensuring durability, and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.
Taking innovation a step further, we employed a high build spot gloss varnish, digitally applied to selected areas, elevating the labels to a new level of excellence. The cutting-edge technology behind this process is credited to our Epson Surepress L-6034VW, a state-of-the-art printing solution that played a pivotal role in achieving the desired outcome.
The winners are scheduled to be announced on the 22nd of November in London and the anticipation for the final verdict is building. The prestigious ceremony will be hosted at the InterContinental Park Lane Hotel, with former Liverpool goalkeeper, Bruce Grobbelaar, taking on the role of the master of ceremonies.
While Label Power regrets not being able to attend the event in person, the company will be represented by a delegate from Epson UK in the event of a win. While it is a shame that we can’t attend in person we are happy that this shines a spotlight on the collaborative spirit within the industry and also highlights the international recognition that Label Power commands.
